The H2Driven project promotes the Portuguese Mobilizing Agenda and relies on green hydrogen and green methanol to decarbonize industry, the energy sector, and heavy mobility, which together account for the most significant share of national direct and indirect COâ‚‚ emissions.
The project covers the entire life cycle, from research, engineering, construction, logistics, and commercialization of all renewable electricity, hydrogen, and renewable methanol production. It includes the construction of two industrial units, which are expected to enter operation in 2026.
